DRIVING DIRECTIONS

If you are traveling from the South Bay or Peninsula

• Take 101 North to the 9th Street Exit.
• At the end of the exit ramp, turn left onto 9th St.
• Continue northbound across Market Street. You are now on Larkin Street.
• At the third traffic light turn left onto McAllister.
• Continue two blocks to Van Ness Avenue and turn left.

From the East Bay

• Take I-80 West, via the Bay Bridge to the 9th Street/Civic Center Exit
• Stay right on the exit ramp. Turn left onto Harrison Street.
• Turn right onto 9th St.
• Continue northbound across Market Street. You are now on Larkin Street.
• At the third traffic light turn left onto McAllister.
• Continue two blocks to Van Ness Avenue and turn left.

From the North Bay

• Cross the Golden Gate Bridge.
• Follow the signs to Downtown via Lombard St.
• Turn right onto Van Ness Avenue.
• Continue Southbound to McAllister Street.

St Mark’s Lutheran Church is located at 1111 O’Farrell Street (between Gough and Franklin)

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

• St. Mark’s is accessible from the 38 Geary, the 31 Balboa, and the 42, 47 and 49 Van Ness lines.
• The nearest BART stations are Civic Center and Powell.

If you are traveling from the Golden Gate Bridge

• After crossing the bridge, take US 101 to Lombard Street.
• Continue on Lombard to Gough Street.
• Turn right on Gough.
• Continue on Gough for two miles and bear left.
• Go past Geary.
• The entrance to St. Mark’s parking lot is about a half-block on the left, after crossing Geary.

If you are traveling from the Bay Bridge

• After crossing the bridge, take the Ninth Street/Civic Center Exit onto Harrison Street.
• Go one block and turn right onto Ninth.
• Stay to the left and continue on Ninth across Market Street onto Hayes Street.
• Take Hayes to Franklin Street and turn right. Take Franklin to Sutter.
• Turn left on Sutter. Take Sutter one block to Gough.
• Turn left on Gough and stay in the left-hand lane. After crossing Geary, St. Mark’s parking lot is on the left, halfway between Geary and Ellis.

If you are traveling from the Peninsula via 101

• Take US101 North and take the Ninth Street/Civic Center Exit onto Harrison Street.
• Go one block and turn right onto Ninth. Stay to the left and continue on Ninth across Market Street onto Hayes Street.
• Take Hayes to Franklin Street and turn right. Take Franklin to Sutter.
• Turn left on Sutter. Take Sutter one block to Gough.
• Turn left on Gough and stay in the left-hand lane. After crossing Geary, St. Mark’s parking lot is on the left, halfway between Geary and Ellis.

Parking

• All spaces in the church lot off Gough Street are available for concert parking. Aside from that, there is street parking on the surrounding streets.
